This is a truly exquisite set of antique porcelain plates made by Copeland Spode in England during the second half of the 19th century – a rare find and a remarkable example of English craftsmanship!

Each plate is a unique work of art, luxuriously hand painted with delicate garden flowers — every composition is different. The borders are richly adorned with fine gold detailing, elegant white enamel beading, and a stunnin rim in a vibrant Aqua blue. The result is a noble and highly decorative set.

Each plate measures 23 cm in diameter and bears the Copeland Spode maker’s mark (used since 1850), along with handwritten pattern code notations on the reverse. The code and backstamp dates these plates May 1st 1852.

🌟Condition: Colours are vibrant and floral design very good. The gold inner rim around the flowers has some wear. There are no chips, smudges, cracks or repairs.
