Striking set of 10 antique French porcelain dessert or salad plates, each beautifully decorated with one of three different bird motifs. The plates feature partial hand-painting and elegant swirled rims, giving them wonderful depth and movement. A true jewel for your table or display cabinet—and exceptionally hard to find as a complete set.

These plates were produced by Jammet Seignolles, one of the great masters of Limoges porcelain. A visionary innovator, Seignolles transformed porcelain production in 1855 by introducing the very first gas-fired kiln experiments in Limoges—an unprecedented breakthrough that forever changed the industry.

In 1962, the historic manufactory known as “La Fabrique” was acquired by Henri Seignolles and his associates, ensuring the continuation of this distinguished porcelain legacy.
