An exceptional and striking 19th-century French porcelain dinner service, beautifully executed in a soft, elegant pink and adorned with a refined monogram “M.v.L.” This remarkable set was produced by an early Parisian manufacturer located on the historic Boulevard Poissonnière, once one of Paris’ most fashionable shopping streets.
The porcelain itself is of exceptional quality—bright white, luminous, and finely potted, a hallmark of fine Paris porcelain of this period. Each piece is entirely hand-painted, with subtle variations that speak to its authentic craftsmanship. The pieces were kiln-fired in traditional 19th-century ovens, adding to their historical charm and character.
A particularly delightful detail: the tureen lids are topped with fig-shaped finials, an elegant and rare decorative touch that elevates the entire service.
Despite its age, this is a large and impressive set in very good antique condition. All pieces bear their original Parisian backstamps.
The large tureen lid finial has been professionally restored
The sauceboat shows minor retouching to two small chips
